James and Dina Paulik are also co-directors of the Dallas Montessori Teacher Education Programs (DMTEP). The programs are affiliated with the American Montessori Society which issues certificates to the graduating teachers. Aspiring teachers from across the United States and some foreign countries enroll in the training programs.

PHILOSOPHY

The Dallas Montessori Teacher Education Programs (DMTEP) are designed to educate private and public school teachers in Montessori strategies and philosophy.

Dr. Maria Montessori insisted that the purpose of education is LIFE. DMTEP prepares teachers to assist children in the development of the human mind through academics and aesthetic study, and the development of social skills in preparation for their roles in society.

MISSION

The mission of DMTEP is to prepare caring, sensitive, knowledgeable adults who will offer children the means for optimum personal development.
